Temperature is a parameter that controls the level of randomness or unpredictability in the output generated by a language model (LLM). A higher temperature value leads to more varied and creative responses, introducing more deviation from the input. Conversely, a lower temperature value results in more deterministic and focused outputs, staying closer to the input.
