Additionally, Microsoft Copilot Spoofing has emerged as a new phishing attack vector, with users struggling to recognize AI-powered scams.
The issue is further exacerbated by open-source AI models like DeepSeek V3 and DeepSeek R1, which lack strict security oversight. Researchers demonstrated how these models could be used to generate ransomware and keyloggers, making AI-generated malware more accessible than ever.
