According to a leaked feature spotted by TestingCatalog, Google is testing a new Gemini feature called “Import AI chats,” designed to help users migrate conversation history from rival platforms like ChatGPT and Claude.
The feature is currently in beta and not widely available.

The Google Gemini import AI chats option reportedly appears when users tap the “plus” icon in Gemini’s home menu—the same area used to attach files to prompts. In the leaked build, the option sits beneath the shortcut for NotebookLM and is marked with a chat-bubble icon.

- A mysterious tool called “Likeness,” possibly linked to YouTube’s identity protection systems
The Likeness feature may help users detect AI-generated videos that misuse their identity, though Google hasn’t confirmed its purpose.
