The Skye AI home screen app for iPhone is gaining momentum even before its public debut. Still in private testing, the startup says it wants to reinvent how users interact with AI on smartphones by replacing the traditional app-first experience with an agentic homescreen powered by iOS widgets.
Why the Skye AI Home Screen App for iPhone Is Getting Attention
According to the report, Skye has already drawn interest from investors and added “tens of thousands” of users to its waitlist.
That early traction suggests growing curiosity around more proactive, context-aware AI experiences on mobile devices.
How the Skye AI Home Screen App for iPhone Works
Instead of asking users to open apps or chat with a bot, Skye is being built around iPhone widgets. Through that interface, the app aims to provide ambient intelligence directly on the home screen.
The report said it could surface personalized insights tied to weather, health, and current context. It may also help with drafting email replies, preparing for meetings, sending reminders, and flagging suspicious bank charges.
Additional features mentioned include location-based recommendations and information about nearby businesses, neighborhoods, and attractions.
Backed by Investors Ahead of Launch
The startup behind the app, Signull Labs, has already secured funding despite not yet releasing a public product.
According to an SEC filing cited in the report, the company raised more than $3.58 million in pre-seed funding in a round that closed in September 2025. PitchBook also reportedly lists the startup at a $19.5 million post-money valuation.
Founder and Early Supporters
The creator, known online as signüll, was identified in the report as Nirav Savjani. He said early backers included a16z, True Ventures, SV Angel, and other individuals.
The report also noted that Offline Ventures lists Signull Labs in its online portfolio.
Launch Plans Ahead
Savjani said the Skye app is expected to launch soon to users on the waitlist, though no exact timeline was provided.
If the early demand proves real, Skye could become another signal that consumers are ready for a more AI-aware smartphone experience.
