The Altara AI data platform was founded in 2025 by Eva Tuecke and Catherine Yeo.

Tuecke previously worked in particle physics research at Fermilab and later at SpaceX, while Yeo worked as an AI engineer at Warp.

The two founders met while studying computer science at Harvard University.
