Bond AI Social Media Platform Wants to End Doomscrolling With Real-World Recommendations

The Bond AI social media platform is entering the market with a different pitch: help users spend less time scrolling and more time living offline.

Officially launched on Tuesday, Bond says its platform uses AI to turn personal memories and activity posts into recommendations for real-world experiences, aiming to break habits tied to endless feeds and doomscrolling.

Bond AI Social Media Platform Replaces Endless Feeds

Unlike traditional social platforms built around continuous feeds, Bond AI Social Media Platform does not use a standard scrolling timeline.

Instead, users create profiles and post what the platform calls “memories” through:

  • Photos
  • Video
  • Audio files

Profiles appear in a cluster-style layout, and clicking a profile shows the user’s current stories. Public stories disappear after 24 hours, but they remain stored privately in the user’s archive.

How Bond’s AI Recommendation System Works

Bond AI Social Media Platform says experiences shared on the platform help train its AI system to generate personalized suggestions.

For example, if a user posts often about liking pho, the system may recommend a nearby Vietnamese restaurant with good reviews. If a user follows heavy metal, it may highlight an upcoming Iron Maiden concert in their city.

According to CEO Dino Becirovic, the more users share experiences, the better the recommendations become.

Team Background and Product Vision

Bond said its team includes people who previously worked on major platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.

The company also said founding researcher Arthur Bražinskas previously co-led integration of user signals at Google Gemini.

Revenue Plans Focus on Data Licensing and Commerce

Bond does not currently rely on advertising.

Instead, the company outlined future possibilities that include allowing users to license their archived data for AI training purposes, with Bond taking a small fee. Another potential model would involve product recommendations tied to e-commerce transactions, with users choosing to opt in.

Privacy and Data Controls

The company said users can delete memories through the Memory tab or by using natural language commands in Memory chat. Users can also delete their profiles.

Bond added that end-to-end encryption is a priority for the future, while saying user data is currently stored securely in its database.
