The Turing test, created by computer scientist Alan Turing, assesses a machine’s ability to exhibit human-like intelligence, particularly in language and behavior. In the test, a human evaluator engages in conversations with both a human and a machine. If the evaluator cannot distinguish the machine’s responses from the human’s, the machine is considered to have passed the Turing test.
