India has taken a major step in digital health innovation with the launch of iLive Connect, a doctor-led AI healthcare ecosystem designed to deliver round-the-clock medical monitoring—right from a patient’s home.

Positioned as the world’s first system of its kind, iLive Connect combines wearable biosensors, real-time data analytics, and continuous doctor oversight to detect early signs of illness and prevent medical emergencies. How iLive Connect Works

At the heart of iLive Connect is a wireless biosensor patch worn on the chest and a connected wearable wristband, both approved by the FDA and CE. According to Dr Rahul Chandola, founder of iLive Connect, the system enables predictive monitoring rather than reactive care.

“At the first sign of a potentially harmful physiological change, doctors alert the patient and their family within two minutes, along with clear guidance on what needs to be done immediately,” Chandola said.

An ICU-Like Safety Net at Home

Senior interventional cardiologist and iLive Connect co-founder Dr Viveka Kumar described the platform as effectively bringing an ICU into the patient’s living room.

“Unlike traditional monitoring systems that respond only after symptoms appear, iLive Connect uses AI-driven predictive analytics to detect subtle changes that may indicate disease well before clinical symptoms develop,” Kumar explained.

Doctors stationed at the command centre remain on duty around the clock, actively reviewing incoming data rather than relying solely on automated alerts. This human-in-the-loop model is what sets iLive Connect apart from conventional remote monitoring tools.

Data-Driven Decisions, Fewer Hospital Visits

The continuous flow of granular health data allows physicians to intervene early. For example, if a patient consistently fails to get adequate sleep over several days, the system can flag the exact duration and timing of sleep deficits—insights that may signal deeper health risks.

This proactive approach has already shown measurable results. According to available data, a 10-week observational study involving 410 patients using iLive Connect recorded a 76% reduction in hospital readmissions. Early complications linked to cardiac conditions, blood pressure instability, metabolic disorders, and post-discharge recovery issues were identified before escalating into emergencies.
