Napster owner Infinite Reality valued at $15 billion after closing a $500 million deal to acquire AI-powered technology firm Touchcast, the company confirmed Wednesday. The acquisition gives Infinite Reality direct access to Touchcast’s cutting-edge AI agent solutions, which allow companies to build hyper-realistic digital avatars for business interactions.

“Agentic AI is a big part of how consumers and businesses will interact with the web in the future,” Infinite Reality CEO John Acunto said in the official announcement. The deal not only bolsters Infinite Reality’s AI portfolio but also reinforces its growing ambitions in the metaverse and eCommerce industries.

This acquisition follows the company’s recent plans to purchase the legendary music brand Napster, as it continues its acquisition spree to position itself as a major player at the intersection of AI, digital media, and virtual experiences.

Touchcast’s AI tools allow users to create life-like digital duplicates capable of replicating voices and mannerisms — a feature that could soon redefine corporate communications, investor presentations, and even customer service.

According to Touchcast CEO Edo Segal, the integration will enable Infinite Reality users to access an “infinite universe of AI agents” designed for various roles across industries.

This marks Infinite Reality’s third acquisition this year and its largest so far. The company previously announced a $3 billion funding round from an undisclosed global tech and real estate investor, signaling strong momentum behind its growth strategy.
